This is one of the fastest growing<br \/>\n        industries out there, which means some great income opportunities, <b>but<br \/>\n        there are some things you should know!<\/b><\/p>\n<h3>The Good News<\/h3>\n<p>\n        The good news about a career in PEO sales is that it can be the most rewarding<br \/>\n        thing you have ever done. We touch peoples&#8217; lives in a very positive way<br \/>\n        and that is something valuable.<\/p>\n<p>        Another good thing to consider is that if you work <b>smart<\/b>, study<br \/>\n        the industry, and help businesses get what they need\/want you can benefit<br \/>\n        financially. Some people in this business make well into six and seven<br \/>\n        figures while building a sizable residual income.<\/p>\n<h3>The Bad News<\/h3>\n<p>\n        Unfortunately there are some pitfalls on the path to success. When interviewing<br \/>\n        for a career in the PEO industry there are a few things you need to know.<\/p>\n<p>        1) NEVER sign any contract any company puts in front of you without taking<br \/>\n        it home, reading it, and investigating that company thoroughly. Why?<\/p>\n<p>        In this business there are independent reps and &#8220;captive&#8221; reps. <i>A &#8220;captive<br \/>\n        rep&#8221; can only sell one PEO!<\/i><\/p>\n<p>        Is this bad? Sometimes those PEOs are substandard and you don&#8217;t discover<br \/>\n        it until it&#8217;s too late.<\/p>\n<p>        Even with a good PEO, there will be limitations. There will be clients<br \/>\n        you have that don&#8217;t fit the PEO guidelines, and you will have to let them<br \/>\n        go somewhere else.<\/p>\n<p>        Most companies with &#8220;captive reps&#8221; require the agent to sign a non-compete<br \/>\n        agreement as well as a restrictive covenant. This means you can only sell<br \/>\n        their services! Also, if you choose to leave, <b>you can&#8217;t sell any other<br \/>\n        industry product or service for up to two years.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>        How can you tell if a brokerage is &#8220;captive&#8221;? Ask them if you are allowed<br \/>\n        to sell the services of other companies at the same time you sell theirs,<br \/>\n        and get it in writing, before you sign anything.<\/p>\n<h3>What should I do?<\/h3>\n<p>\n        If you are interested in a career in PEO Sales <b>do your homework<\/b>.<br \/>\n        Talk to everyone you know. Ask them who they know in the industry. Take<br \/>\n        your time and learn as much as you can about the company you are considering<br \/>\n        joining. If you don&#8217;t get answers that make sense walk away&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>        If you are trapped in a &#8220;captive PEO&#8221; ask yourself some simple questions. <\/p>\n<ol>\n<li> Can you sleep nights selling their services only?<\/li>\n<li> Are you selling something you would want your mom, dad, family<br \/>\n            to be part of?<\/li>\n<li> Is your future manager telling you one thing but everything you<br \/>\n            see and hear tells you something different?<\/li>\n<li> Will your monthly check really match what you are told when they<br \/>\n            recruit you?<\/li>\n<li> When was the last time the Regional Manager\/Branch Manager went<br \/>\n            out on a real sales call?<\/li>\n<li> Does your company use the service they want you to sell others?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>\n        If you want to learn more call us toll free at 800.788.8343.
