BYOB Going to Twice a Month Format

Due to increased demand on the members in the growing business market, we have decided to meet twice a month as opposed to weekly, and we are moving our meeting time to 8 am. New format:

7:45 to 8:00 Open networking
8:00 to 8:20 Introductions, order breakfast, announcements
8:20 to 8:40 Topic (see below)
8:40 to 9:00 Referral exchange, Kudos, etc.

2nd Tuesday: Monthly Goals and What’s Working, What’s Not
4th Tuesday: Trends and What Have You Done For Someone Lately

Moving to TOOJAY’s, and some New Rules

Toojay’s Waterford Lakes will be our new meeting location, effective immediately. It is much more convenient for our most active members, who live or work in or near Waterford Lakes, Eastwood, Stoneybrook and Avalon Park.

The food is excelent, the prices are very reasonable and the service is second to none. We welcome this change of venue!

Also, a new rule is now in place, concerning attendance. Members are asked to send a substitute if they cannot make it themselves. If they do not attend or send a substitute more than 6 times a calendar year, their position is no longer protected.

New 4th Tuesday Agenda: Who Have You Helped?

We are trying a technique learned from our other leads group, The Laid Back Business Builders, where we have the exercise of asking each person in attendance to describe for us who they have helped recently.

This allows us to learn a few things:

What talents they have for helping people
What problems they can fix
Who is a good referral for them

We anticipate much success with this exercise.
